This Privacy Statement applies to the processing, in particular the collection, management and use, of your personal data by Profile-Tools.

By personal data, we mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. It is data that you have provided to us yourself, that we assign to you for the use of our products and/or services, that we obtain through the use of our products and/or services. 

This includes data enabling us to identify you (name, address, etc.), to contact you (address, telephone or cell phone number, e-mail, data identifying the devices you use, etc.).

Purposes of processing  

Personal data is processed for a variety of purposes. However, we take care to collect and process only data that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. 

We therefore use your personal data:

• To comply with our legal obligations;
• If we have obtained your consent to do so. You are of course free to withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us via the appropriate channels;
• For the performance of an agreement and/or to assess whether a contract or service can be concluded.
• If we have a legitimate interest in doing so (processing for research purposes, managing disputes and legal risks, managing complaints and after-sales service, exercising and safeguarding our rights, etc.) In doing so, we ensure that, in each case, the balance between these legitimate interests and the impact on your privacy is not disturbed.

Legal basis for processing

Internally at Porfile-Tools, we take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data in our offices and/or via our websites. For example, we use the necessary firewalls to secure external access and apply a strict password policy. We ensure that our employees and subcontractors only have access to the data they need to perform their duties, and that they treat this data securely and confidentially.

If you are one of our customers, we also store your contact and billing data. This data is necessary for the smooth running of the cooperation.

Retention period

It goes without saying that personal data must not be kept longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. The retention period may therefore vary in this respect, depending on the purpose.

What are your rights? 

1. Right of access and rectification, modification or deletion of data 

You have the right to consult all the personal data we collect from you. You can have any incorrect or incomplete data amended or deleted.

2. Right to be forgotten

You have the right to have your data deleted from our databases.  

3. Right to lodge a complaint
